Stratum: | light pinkish brown silty sand; a very few pieces of bone and metal in fill
Description: | The soil color is light pinkish brown. The soil compaction is compact. The soil is moderately sorted. It is silty sand.
Notes: | We open this context to now take out the surface level in the S half of the area W of the Broneer Sondage (4RW). The lime/plaster(?) surface is only preserved in the SW in a small patch going into the scarp (see context 335). The fill apart from the surface is a pinkish brown silty sand. We close when the surface is fully removed. We have now come down on a slighly more compact reddish/pinkish brown fill with visible sherd inclusions.
