Notes: | This is a small retaining wall built, presumably by Broneer, to shore up the nrothern scarp in the central portion of the Shops 4-5 area (Roman phase Room B). It is built from rectanguar blocks of varying size, not finished smooth, which probably derive from dismantled structures in the area -- possibly even STR 470? The wall is one block deep and ranges from three to four courses in height. | |
