Stratum:   10% medium pebbles, 25% small chunks of compact yellow clay, small pockets of charcoal, 5% small rounded stones
Description:   Top slope of the context is even. The soil color is light yellowish brown. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is poorly sorted. It is sandy clay.
Notes:   This context was begun when there was a soil change to a more clayey soil. There was a small pocket of ash on the northwest side, but otherwise the soil is consistent throughout. In addition to the pebbles there are small-medium irregular chunks of rocks/unclayey red bedrock. Another foothold was found on the south side of the well. There is no soil change, so we are changing contexts arbitrarily. The pieces of clay are roughly 8cmx5cmx5cm.
