Description:   Top slope of the context is slight down to the W. The soil color is dark brownish brown. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is moderately sorted. It is clayey silt.
Notes:   yet another lens of this surface in the SE of the trench, although this lens extends much further north than any above it. This northern portion was visibly lower than the area covered by the previous lenses, and there was a distinct slump dividing these higher and lower sections. This is probably because of settling of deep fill of the bedrock gully in which all of these surfaces are located.
Removal of this surface revealed that, contrary to what we had thought, only part of it was laid on the surface below. An extensive layer of soft, rocky fill lies between these two surfaces, probably a leveling fill.
28/5/2016 we currently interpret this surface as one lens of an EH metaled road.
