Stratum:   fine to small subrounded to angular spherical to tabular pebbles (very few)
Description:   Top slope of the context is slight down to the N. The soil color is light reddish brown. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is well sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   this surface is only a few millimeters thicky. It is poorly preserved, only extant in a small patch extending under the section line. It is directly on top of another lens that covers the area from the bedrock cut beneath the cellar to the bothros 548.
this context in some parts consisted of two very thin layers.
When we began excavating this context, panos misunderstood what we were planning to excavate and instead excavated a small part of 559 before we stopped him. The soil was put back and packed down.
