Description:   Top slope of the context is slight down to the W. The soil color is dark brownish brown. The soil compaction is firm. The soil is moderately sorted. It is sandy silt.
Notes:   we began this context after we realized that it ran over and was laid against (rather than abutted) the rocky layer initially visible only as 560. it seems to be a continuation of surface 557.
this soil was quite compact.
