Stratum:   5% large pebble - sized pieces of compacted reddish brown soil, 2% yellow clay chunks, a few tile fragments, and few flecks of carbon
Description:   Top slope of the context is level. The soil color is light brownish brown. The soil compaction is soft. The soil is poorly sorted. It is sandy clay.
Notes:   Similar to 70 but there are fewer bones.
This context was begun after 25 cm of context 70 had been excavated. The primary distinction in soil is that it has overall fewer animal bones and larger pieces of the compacted reddish brown soil that I believe may be sunbaked. Mudbrick that has decomposed. A very large piece of a pan tile came out and a lamp at el. 75.71. We close this context arbitrarily after ca. 25 cm.
This context contained 24 fragments of pan cover tiles = 24.95 kg.
