Description:   The context shape in plan is circular. Structure materials: Limestone, occasional conglomerate stone, occasional tile. Material size: Varies. Material finish: Roughly hewn. Material construction: Random coursed. Material bonding: None/mud. Features: Interior expands - honey comb or bell shaped.
Notes:   At top height of well, there is a pebble floor. Small, smooth round pebbles, multi-colored. Some pieces of well walls cut it, rise above level of pebble floor. Pebble floor visible on N and S (on top of large stone covering top of well. Pebble floor at 84.09.
LN AMS 12/6/15: the "pebble floor" now reveals itself to simply be two pieces of conglomerate stone placed at the same level above the well.
At S side of interior, there appears to be a channel at the top of the well structure, underneath the conglomerate pebble "slab." Just dirt. But could also be missing stone.
Construction of well cut through white plaster floor seen at bottom of large bothros (733) and smaller later pit. It may also be related to the "lowest" part of the big pit, which cuts through and below the white plaster floor. The lowest fill from the big pit may therefore pre-date the pit.
Stone, largest on exterior (excluding large ashlar above drain): 0.48 x 0.27 x 0.14.
Typical stone on interior - c. 0.35 long. Different shapes.
Masonry - rough pick marks.
LN: AMS, 25/6/15. Excavation in well continued toa depth of 4.55m. Masonry ended at c. 4.25m. No real floor at bottom of structure, just a change to a packed dirt layer.
