Description:   Acanthus column drum. A 453-457 are associated with it. The lower third is fluted with four acanthus leaves rising from the base. Each leaf has eleven lobes. The middle third has larger eleven-lobe acanthus leaves overlapping plain unmodelled leaves which have a slight rise vertically down the middle. Upper third fluted. "Appartently the second drum from the bottom."
Material:   Pentelic marble.
Condition:   Complete or intact. Mended from two pieces; tips of acanthus leaves and small bits missing.
Dimensions Actual:   H. 1.836, Diam. lower 0.59 (this measurement taken from the publication), Circumference measured at level of cusps of lower flutes 1.74
