Description:   Haltern 15 bowl with fine vertical ring foot, narrow resting surface, nippled undersurface. Straight flaring body rising at 30 degrees to H00.017, tall vertical rim H00.029, with convex moulding offset by circumference grooves at mid height, fine lip. On interior of rim at mid height, concave moulding offset by circumference grooves.
Decoration:   Rouletting on moulding on rim exterior. On interior, circumference groove surrounding stamp D00.030. Lustrous red slip over all.
Writing:   stamp. Stamp on floor: L.ALFI/VS.EP in rectangle. O-C.46.b
Material:   Fine light red clay, well-compacted, rare voids.
Munsell Color:   Clay: near 2.5YR 6/6 Slip: 2.5YR 4/8
Condition:   Complete profile. Single frgt., complete profile; complete foot, body except for small part of edge, ca. 1/10 rim, lip.
