Description:   Rim fragment.
Decoration:   Two reserved bands on inside below rim. On a lip a laurel wreath to left with buds between each pair of leaves. Bellerophon and Chimaera. Neck and part of head, left wing and piece of right wing of Pegasus preserved at left. Body, mane and wings are white with inner markings in dilute glaze. Two spears only of Bellerophon preserved, one preserved above head of Pegasus. At right two young Orientals in battle one has raised large rock over head, other defends self with pelt and about to throw javelin. Both youths wear tiaras, with white dots, sleeved garment and decorated tunic., left youth with thick belt and white studs. Face of third male with wreath about head. Man may have held laurel branch, part preserved. Apollo? Relief contour except on Pegasus.
Material:   Attic pinkish-buff clay, black glaze added white.
Condition:   Fragment. Joining frgts.
