Description:   Vessel (mug?) with convex body.
Decoration:   Exterior with rows of overlapping petals of alternating red and white clay. Yellow glaze. Similar to C-1937-1152 (Morgan 1942, Corinth 11, cat. 165).
Material:   Coarse white clay with common small to medium subrounded tabular air voids, and with few medium to very large gray and medium red inclusions.
Munsell Color:   10Y 8/2 (white)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving small part of body.
Period:   Middle Byzantine (802-1058 AD)
Chronology:   9th-10th century; based on comparanda (Morgan 1942).
