Description:   Vertical strap handle of double bottomed chafing dish. Inwardly folded rim with rounded lip, offset inside by ledge for lid. Similar to C-1933-720.
Decoration:   Mottled green glaze all over except underside of handle.
Material:   Very pale brown clay with rare small gray inclusions, and frequent small to large subrounded and angular voids.
Munsell Color:   10YR 7/3 (very pale brown)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving upper body to lip and complete handle.
Period:   Middle Byzantine (802-1058 AD)
