Description:   Bowl with low vertical foot, flat resting surface and undersurface, wide shallow body slightly convex. Similar to C-1938-525 (Morgan 1942, Corinth 11, cat. 652).
Decoration:   Glaze all over. Glaze too thick and overfired in one area, looks green. Incised motif and red spots, unintelligible design.
Material:   Reddish yellow clay with few small rounded spherical and tabular gray and red inclusions, and frequent small rounded spherical and angular platy and tabular voids.
Munsell Color:   7.5 YR 7/6 (reddish yellow)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving approx. 1/4 of foot (maybe less), and part of body.
Period:   Late Byzantine (1059-1210 AD)
