Description:   Bowl with low flaring foot, rounded resting surface and flat undersurface, steep convex body, vertical tapered lip.
Decoration:   Slip and light yellow glaze on interior and exterior upper edge. Central medallion with large incised circle filled with dots. Short strokes on lip. Similar to C-1929-10 (Morgan 1942, Corinth 11, cat.656).
Material:   Reddish yellow clay with few small and medium rounded spherical and subrounded tabular red and gray inclusions, and frequent small angular platy and rounded spherical voids.
Munsell Color:   5YR 6/6 (reddish yellow)
Condition:   Complete profile. Single frgt., preserving approx. 1/3 of foot and body to lip.
Period:   Late Byzantine (1059-1210 AD)
Chronology:   Based on Morgan 1942, Corinth 11.
