Description:   Vertical strap handle of double walled hot dish (?), convex body, flaring rim and rounded lip, interior of rim offset by protruding ledge. Similar to C-1934-1248.
Decoration:   Dark green glaze on exterior and interior of dish, and patches of glaze on inner part of double wall.
Material:   Pink clay, white at surface, with rare small and medium subrounded red and few gray inclusions. Few angular and subrounded voids.
Munsell Color:   5YR 8/3 (pink)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving one complete handle and small part of body.
Period:   Middle Byzantine (802-1058 AD)
