Description:   Chafing dish with nearly cylindrical stand, verticalrim, flaring round lip. On interior, deep adheringbowl, ending in horizontal flange.
Decoration:   Relief decoration: Claw-like applique with point at lip, gouge down center, continuing in a narrow vertical stem with impressed dots; row of impressed leaves at juncture of body to rim. Spotty brown glaze inside and out.
Material:   Moderately fine clay with tiny white and sparkling inclusions, fired gray to red.
Munsell Color:   10YR 5/1 to 2.5YR 5/6
Condition:   Fragment. Single rim frgt.
