Description:   Local red-slip imitation of ESB Atlante II form 79 with beveled false ring foot, rounded bottom, carinated body leading to vertical, slightly inclined wall, and broad everted (almost horizontal) rim. Similar to C-1973-408 (Slane 1990, Corinth 18.2, cat. 131).
Decoration:   Slip unevenly fired, from red (10R 4/6) to weak red (10R 4/4), with spots of dark reddish gray (10R 3/1).
Material:   Pinkish white fabric with rare very large subrounded dark gray inclusions.
Munsell Color:   7.5YR 8/2 (pinkish white)
Condition:   Complete profile. Three joining frgts., preserving complete profile, over 1/2 base, 1/4 rim. Slip worn, especially on interior.
Period:   2nd c. A.C.
Chronology:   First half of the 2nd c. CE, based on comparanda in Corinth 18.2
