Description:   Bowl with high torus ring foot, narrow rounded resting surface with groove in inner edge, nippled undersurface. Echinoid body, inturned tapered lip.
Decoration:   Black glazed over all, except resting surface; scraped groove at juncture of foot to body. Rows of rouletting on undersurface. Interior: central ring, around which 2 sets of 4 linked palmettes, making complex pattern of intersecting arcs; at least 9 rings of rouletting.
Material:   Fine brown clay

Condition:   Complete profile. Ca. 21 joining frgts., nearly complete, missing small part of foot, floor, body, ca. 1/10 lip".
