Description:   Chafing dish (?) with straight flaring body, flat lip, rim offset on interior by ledge. Similar to C-1937-2128.
Decoration:   Plain brown glazed on interior.
Material:   Coarse clay grayish brown at core, fired light gray to tan at surfaces, with frequent small rounded spherical and tabular gray inclusions, and few angular platy voids.
Munsell Color:   10 YR 5/2 (grayish brown)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving small part of upper body, and ca. 1/4 rim.
Period:   Late Byzantine (1059-1210 AD)
