Description:   Bowl with flaring medium foot, slightly curved resting surface, undersurface and center.
Decoration:   Yellow to green glaze on inside of bowl and exterior of foot. Impressed medallion in center, insect (?) design according to original inventory notebook. Similar to C-1937-1705.
Material:   Pink clay, blackened in firing, with rare small to medium red and gray inclusions, and few small angular voids.
Munsell Color:   5 YR 8/4 (pink)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving approx. half of foot, and center of bowl.
Period:   Late Byzantine (1059-1210 AD)
