Description:   Plate with high flaring ring foot, flat undersurface, floor slightly convex in center.
Decoration:   White slip over all. On interior, central medallion with crudely rendered animal to rt., with short ear, incised eyebrow, circular eye tapering to point, open mouth; missing legs. Long tail curling up and out behind. Crude floral sprays on ground. Clear glaze on interior.
Material:   Moderately fine light red to brown clay with frequent tiny to fine white inclusions, numerous voids.
Munsell Color:   Slightly yellower than 2.5YR 5/6 to grayer
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving nearly half circumference of top of foot, missing bottom; floor.
