Description:   Protomaiolica bowl with thick low flaring foot; small shallow body; interior made with two offsets; uptruned high rim tapering to rounded lip. Similar to C-1937-1790 (Morgan 1942, Corinth 11, cat. 819) and C-1929-13 (Morgan 1942, Corinth 11, cat. 833).
Decoration:   Interior: in center, yellow cockleshell; simple blue spiral band on lower part of rim; three purple lines about upper part of rim.
Material:   Buff-white clay.
Condition:   Complete profile. Single frgt., foot and ca. 3/4 body, 1/4 lip.
Period:   Frankish (1210-1458 AD)
Chronology:   2/3 of 13th c., according based on comparanda in Corinth 20
