Description:   Cup with small flaring foot, rouded resting surface, broad and shallow steep carinated wall, strap handle in mid-body. One tripod mark on foot, and protruding manufacture mark next to handle. Similar to C-1937-660 (Morgan 1942, Corinth 11, cat. 129).
Decoration:   Light yellow glaze on interior and undersurface and side of foot, patch of slightly darker glaze on exterior near handle.
Material:   White clay with frequent small to medium subrounded red and gray inclusions, and few angular voids.
Munsell Color:   5Y 8/1 (white)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving approx. half of foot, small part of body and start of one handle.
Period:   Middle Byzantine (802-1058 AD)
