Description:   Plate with shallow base ring, inner edge of which blends into slightly concave undersurface. Body nearly horizontal, vertical rim H00.030 with slight convex profile, round lip.
Decoration:   White slip over all. On interior champleve decoration on floor: central medallion with deer facing rt., head turned back to lt., floral sprays in field; surrounded by 1 plain, 2 narrow beaded bands; outer ring of deer, facing rt. with heads turned back, floral sprays and spikes in field, similar framing bands around outer circumference. Clear glaze over interior and over upper half of rim with drips over body.
Material:   Smi-fine pinkish buff clay with fine to coarse voids, rare fine white inclusions.
Munsell Color:   Yellower than 7.5YR 7/5
Condition:   Complete profile. Three joining frgts., complete profile; over half foot, 2/5 body and rim.
