Description:   Cover with flattened bell body.
Decoration:   Spekled green glaze on exterior, interior reserved. Two manufacturing marks on upper body, and ridge at base of knob. Interior with faintly impressed cross in central medallion. Similar to C-1934-1464 (Morgan 1942, Corinth 11, cat. 143)
Material:   Pink clay, blackened on one side, with few medium and large gray and small and medium red subrounded inclusions, and few angular platy and subrounded spherical voids.
Munsell Color:   5YR 8/4 (pink)
Condition:   Fragment. Two joining frgts., preserving small part of lid and stump of knob.
Period:   Middle Byzantine (802-1058 AD)
