Description:   Plate with vertical ring foot, pierced for suspension, irregular resting surface, flat undersurface, nearly horizontal body. Similar to C-1935-341.
Decoration:   In white slip: cross-pattern made of simple guilloche with dotted circles in each link; curvilinear motif between. Clear glaze on interior, making ground yellow-brown, greenish and thin on exterior.
Material:   Coarse light red clay with dense amount of fine to coarser spherical red inclusions and rare coarse voids.
Munsell Color:   5YR 6/6 (light red)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving foot, floor, and small part of walls.
Period:   Late Byzantine (1059-1210 AD)
