Description:   Bowl with high flaring foot, ridged approx. at middle of foot, flat resting surface, and flat floor. Similar to C-1938-278 (Morgan 1942, Corinth 11, cat. 128).
Decoration:   Green glaze all pver, worn out on lower part of foot; resting surface and underside of foot reserved. Central impressed medallion, unintelligible design.
Material:   Light red clay, gray at surface, with rare small red and gray inclusions, and few small voids.
Munsell Color:   2.5 YR 7/8 (light red)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving complete foot and small part of floor.
Period:   Middle Byzantine (802-1058 AD)
