Description:   Plate with low, flaring, ring foot, flat undersurface. Convex lower body.
Decoration:   White slip on inner surface. Green glaze on all vessel.
Morgan's description: "Interior: in centre, lion, (fragmentary) with incised body, walks to right, turns head to left; leaf and double spiral motives in field" (Morgan 1942, p. 322, no. 1571).
Writing:   graffito. Incised simbol on the undersurface after firing, possible letter M.
Material:   Fine, hard fabric, reddish-yellow in colour, with few (0.25-0.5 mm) white-opaque, angular -spherical inclusions and rare (0.25-0.50 mm) rounded-spherical, black inclusions

Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt preserves half base, one-tenth of lower body. Missing rim
