Decoration: | White slip on exterior. Simple debased guilloche band of slip-painted type in thick gray-green at top of body; similar paint used to delineate fretted slanting lines on shoulder, alternating with green streaks; green stripes on body. Curved horizontal lines down handle. Clear glaze over exterior. | |
Material: | Moderately fine pinkish-buff clay with sand-like black inclusions. | |
Condition: | Fragment. Six joining frgts., preserving upper half pitcher to mid neck, lower 3/4 of handle. | |
