Description:   Bowl base with low flaring ring foot, round resting surface and curved undersurface.
Decoration:   Mottled green glaze on floor and exterior of foot, with patches of glaze on resting surface, interior of foot reserved. Impressed central medallion with quatrefoil (?) design. Similar to C-1934-717 (Morgan 1942, Corinth 11, cat. 120).
Material:   Pink clay with small and medium rounded spherical and tabular rare red and few gray inclusions. Rare small rounded and angular voids.
Munsell Color:   2.5 YR 8/4 (pink)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving approx. half of foot, and floor.
Period:   Middle Byzantine (802-1058 AD)
