Description:   Bowl with flaring ring foot with slightly convex undersurface; with central medallion with straight flaring walls (?). Similar to C-1937-728.
Decoration:   Interior: yellow glaze all over. Impressed design on central medallion: indeterminable. Some yellow glaze dripped on inerior and exterior of foot.
Material:   Coarse pinkish white clay with rare red and gray inclusions with few fine voids.
Munsell Color:   5YR 8/2 (pinkish white)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving foot, center medallion, very small part of walls. Burned on interior and exterior of foot, burnt on some parts of walls. Glaze worn.
Period:   Byzantine
