Description:   Juglet with flat bottom, ovoid body with max diam. below median, steep sides, short flaring neck, trefoil rim, start of vertical ca. oval handle on neck. Similar to C-1934-337 (Morgan 1942, Corinth 11, cat. 52).
Decoration:   Dark brown glaze on upper part of exterior, patches of glaze on lower body and bottom. Ridge on neck just below rim, and shallow groove on body above max diam.
Material:   Coarse reddish-yellow clay burned gray, with frequent small and large rounded spherical and tabular white inclusions, and few subrounded tabular voids.
Munsell Color:   5YR 6/6 (reddish yellow)
Condition:   Complete profile. Single frgt., preserving complete profile from bottom to lip, missing small part of body and handle.
Period:   Middle Byzantine (802-1058 AD)
