Description:   Type A prime transport amphora with deep rounded body and rounded shoulder, short cylindrical neck, broad overhanging rim, undercut, outer face in two degrees: lower vertical edge, upper part tapering to vertical lip. 2 vertical handles round in section, wider at tip than bottom, set glose to base of neck on shoulder and top of neck. Rim rest on handle.
Writing:   graffito. Graffito on shoulder to lt. of center: Phi
Material:   Coarse well-fired clay with numerous fine to coarser gray-black inclusions, fired pinkish-buff.
Munsell Color:   10YR 8/2.5 to paler than 7/5YR 7/4
Condition:   Fragment. Many joining frgts. upper half body to rim, handles. Missing ca. half neck, rim, one upper handle attachment.
