Description:   ESA plate with slightly sloping floor. Outward sloping walls. Interior wall stepped with groove at top of step and below the rim. Everted, tapered, flaring lip. Exterior profile oblique, slightly reflecting interior profile, with slight carination on exterior. Hayes form 41 (Hayes 1986, p. 32, Tavola VI, 2.), same as Antioch Form 610.
Decoration:   Slightly uneven, dull, thin red slip on exterior and interior. Finger marks on exterior and brush marks on interior.
Material:   Relatively soft, fine, very clean, reddish yellow clay with granular breaks and no visible inclusions.
Munsell Color:   Fabric: 5YR 7/6 (reddish yellow); Surface (slip): 10R 4.5/8 (red)
Condition:   Fragment. Two joining frgts., preserving profile from vessel floor to rim. (Floor frgt., found in Box 659, joined to rim frgt. in 1978.) Break at join between ring foot and vessel floor. Slip worn at rim.
