Description:   ESB dish with flat base. Slightly outward sloping wall. Two grooves under rim on interior. Two grooves and third partial groove on exterior below rim. Outward thickened rim triangular in section. ESB2. Hayes Form 60, earlier subtype and smaller form (Hayes 1986, p. 64, Tavola XIV, 5-6).
Decoration:   Lustrous red slip on interior and exterior.
Material:   Hard, fine, red, micaceous clay with laminar to granular breaks.
Munsell Color:   Fabric: 2.5YR 5/8 (red); Surface (Slip) 2.5YR 4/8 (red)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving most of wall profile from base to rim. Some accretion on interior, and some pitting of slip on interior and exterior. Few losses on exterior, and wear of slip on exterior edge of rim.
