Description:   Very large amphora, broken perhaps at juncture to shoulder, where slight thickened at break; neck cylindrical.
Decoration:   Large panel painted in brown-black glaze: large maeander of which have parts of left and bottom legs, similar parts from hook; at right break, line for leg connecting hook with bottom leg. Maeander hatched with lines oriented vertically for horizontal members, horizontally for vertical members. At leg break, part of another vertical element with diagonal hatching. This could either be outermost leg of maeander, as with Corinth 7.1, no. 73 (C-1937-1). Below (or above, depending on orientation) two horizontal strips. Interior reserved.
Material:   Fine, well-compacted buff clay with rare, fine red-brown inclusions, fine round to angular voids.
Munsell Color:   Slightly grayer than 10YR 7/4 to near 7.5YR 6/4 (fresh chip)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt. part of neck, broken all edges.
