Description: | Plate with very low fine ring foot, narrow resting surface, interior, sloping in to slightly raised undersurface. Body nearly horizontal, vertical rim with round lip. | |
Decoration: | White slip over all. Incised on floor without frame: grotesque warrior with reserved pointed head, incised body, running lt., holding pointed oval shield with hatching, pointed spear. Incised hatching in field below spear; floral sprays in field. Yellow glaze over all, becoming clear on exterior of body, foot. | |
