Description:   Plate with vertical ring foot, rounded resting surface, flat undersurface with string marks. Shallow, wide-flaring body, curving up slightly to upturned triangular lip. Paring gouges on exterior body.
Decoration:   White slip on interior. Warrior, missing rt. forearm, lt. arm, feet, fills plate, advancing rt., head to front, wearing pointed cap, with long curly hair ending in tail; circle for face, incised body, wears striped sleeved garment, pleated skirt, horizontally striped leggings; sheathed sword at waist; carries battle-axe upright in rt. hand, oval shield in lt., edge of which preserved. In field, crossed diamond, small floral sprays. Yellow glaze over all, becoming brown on exterior.
Material:   Moderately fine red clay with frequent coarse red, white inclusions.

Condition:   Complete profile. Seven joining frgts., complete profile. Complete foot, floor, small part of body, ca. 1/8 lip.
