Description:   Mug with round body, low vertical rim and rounded flaring lip.
Decoration:   Yellow glaze. On exterior, rows of overlapping plastic petals alternating red and white clay. Similar to C-1937-1152 (Morgan 1942, Corinth 11, cat. 165).
Material:   White clay with rare small and medium rounded spherical and subrounded tabular red and gray inclusions. Few small angular platy and tabular voids.
Munsell Color:   10 YR 8/2 (white)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving approx. 1/8 of upper body and rim.
Period:   Middle Byzantine (802-1058 AD)
