Description: | Bowl with flaring ring foot, flat resting surface. Hemispherical body, lower half of which pared flat, tapered lip. | |
Decoration: | Pale slip on interior and over upper fourth of exterior. Incised on interior: large medallion with interlace on imbricate and hatched ground; 5 circumference lines, above which broad band of interlace on scraped ground, 2 lines at base of lip. A few splotches of green on floor; glaze fired yellow to brown on interior and over lip. | |
Material: | Brown clay with tiny sand-like inclusions, fewer white, numerous voids. | |
