Description:   Juglet with flat bottom, ovoid body with max diam. below median, gently rising to shoulder curving up to vertical neck. Vertical round handle starting above max diam. Similar to C-1937-1395.
Decoration:   Dark brown glaze all over exterior.
Material:   Reddish yellow clay with rare small and medium rounded spherical and tabular white inclusions, and few small angular platy voids.
Munsell Color:   5YR 7/6 (reddish yellow)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving vessel from bottom to beginning of neck, and start of handle.
Period:   Middle Byzantine (802-1058 AD)
