Description:   Plate with vertical ring foot with rounded resting surface and groove in inner circumference, undersurface slightly nippled. Shallow flaring body with broad channel in upper half, giving convex to concave profile; fillet at base of rim, upturned rim with thick round lip. Cf. Agora XII N1057.
Decoration:   Interior: ring of stamped 9-petal palmettes, 3 preserved, not carefully arranged, double band of rouletting. Black glaze over all.
Material:   Fine clay with rare fine black inclusions, fired unevenly from reddish yellow to gray-buff
Munsell Color:   5YR 5/7 to 10YR 7/3-10YR 6.5/3
Condition:   Complete profile. Single frgt., complete profile, nearly 1/2 foot, 1/4 rim; scratched.
