Decoration: | Decorated in outline style in light red-brown paint: head of woman in profile to rt.: curly hair pulled back from face, straight profile from forehead to nose, small indented mouth, pointed chin, eye framed by long upper lashes; long neck around which a purple ribbon from which presumably hangs an ornament, possibly an upside down bud, in red-brown; start of shoulder at break. To rt., at height of nose, a second element, now unintelligible. Interior of vase reserved. | |
Material: | Fine clay fired buff at surfaces, pale pinkish buff at core, with rare fine voids. | |
