Description:   Fragment, possibly from shoulder, of closed vessel with slight convex curve on longitudinal axis.
Decoration:   Decorated in outline style in light red-brown paint: head of woman in profile to rt.: curly hair pulled back from face, straight profile from forehead to nose, small indented mouth, pointed chin, eye framed by long upper lashes; long neck around which a purple ribbon from which presumably hangs an ornament, possibly an upside down bud, in red-brown; start of shoulder at break. To rt., at height of nose, a second element, now unintelligible. Interior of vase reserved.
Material:   Fine clay fired buff at surfaces, pale pinkish buff at core, with rare fine voids.
Munsell Color:   Inner surface: between 10YR 7.5/5 and 7.5YR 7.5/5 (no good match) ; core: 5YR 5/6
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving body; broken all around.
