Description:   Plate with high flaring ring foot, flattened to round resting surface, convex undersurface. Start of wide flaring body.
Decoration:   Impressed medallion of lion to rt. with head turned back, tail arched above back, surrounded by narrow band of bars; on body, ring of medallions each with an animal ?, divided by foliate design. Speckled green glaze over all but interior of foot.
Material:   Fine hard-fired white clay with rare white, red inclusions.
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving complete foot except for 1/8, floor, lower body.
