Description:   Rather deep kotyle, flaring convex body, small ring foot. Horizontal loop handles.
Decoration:   Black Figure style. One horizontal glazed line below the lip and vertical wavy lines between handles. Animal frieze: three lions to r., a bird to r., looking backwards. Applied purple on mane, chest, belly, ribs and haunch of lions, on bird's neck and a single spot on the wing. Filling ornament: unincised heavy crosses and many blobs. Thin, widely spaced rays at base. Edges of ring foot painted; resting surface reserved; undersurface reserved with two concentric bands. Interior painted solid except for a reserved line at lip. Handle reserved except for a horizontal stripe. Heavy slapdash incisions, disproportional drawing with careless use of applied paint.
Material:   Pale brown clay. Brownish black paint and applied purple.
Munsell Color:   2.5 Y 8/3 (pale brown)
Condition:   Missing parts. Mended from many fragments. Missing half the pot and half a handle. Restored.
