Description:   Circular pestle with broad rounded bottom, short inward-sloping side, flat rim on top around outer edge, broad channel separating from solid knob handle. Grits on bottom, signs of wear.
Material:   Fairly coarse buff fabric with moderate amount small to large dark red and gray inclusions. Fine buff slip, slightly paler.
Munsell Color:   7.5YR 7/5
Condition:   Missing parts. Abouth three-fourths preserved. Most of handle missing.
