Description:   Oinochoe with small flaring ring foot, flat resting surface. Full belly and high, rounded shoulder.
Decoration:   Black figure style. Shoulder with incised tongues; W-R-R-W lines below shoulder. Animal frieze bordered by W-R lines above and W-R-R-W lines below. Frieze: double lotus at center flanked by heraldic lions; beyond right lion: goat to r., feline to l., bull to r., lion to l., swan to r. Filling ornament: dot rosettes. Applied purple for details of animals. Broad black band with W-R-R-R-W lines above rays at base. Edges of foot fully painted.
Material:   Pale buff clay, pinkish at core. Black and applied purple paint.
Munsell Color:   2.5 Y 7/3 (pale brown)
Condition:   Fragment. Mended from many fragments. Shoulder, neck, mouth, handle missing. Partly restored.
