Description:   Cyma kantharos with stem foot, flat resting surface and conical undersurface, with molded exterior in two degrees; high lower with straight sloping profile ending in beveled edge, upper a high, very thin ridge with a square profile, articulated from lower by a a thick groove. High conical stem connected to foot by curve. Wide body with very convex lower and slightly concave upper with almost a vertical profile, flaring out widely to an everted tapered lip. Two vertical strap handles with rectangular thumb rest attaching to just below lip and upper body.
Decoration:   West Slope style with a horizontal groove step between the two handle attachment levels. Black glaze all over. Traces of added white paint in groove.
Material:   Fine very pale brown clay with rare fine to small black, red, and white and fine sparkling inclusions.
Munsell Color:   10YR 8/3 (very pale brown)
Condition:   Missing parts. Numerous joining frgts., preserving foot, stem, most of body, 3/4 lip, both handles. Black glaze mostly worn.
