Description:   Cyma kantharos with stem foot, flat resting surface and conical undersurface, with molded exterior in two degrees; narrow, high lower with very short, straight sloping side ending in square edge, upper a high, beveled step articulated from lower by a a thick groove. High cylindrical stem articulated from foot by an angle. Wide body with almost globular lower and upper with a vertical profile, with a small everted tapered lip. Two vertical strap handles with rectangular thumb rest attaching to just below lip and upper body.
Decoration:   West Slope style with a horizontal groove at upper handle attachment level. Trace of black glaze all over. Trace of necklace motif in fugitive white paint.
Material:   Fine very pale brown clay with rare fine black and sparkling inclusions.
Munsell Color:   10YR 8/4 (very pale brown)
Condition:   Complete profile. Numerous joining frgts., preserving foot, except for a chip, stem. Most of body, lip except for some chips, both handles. Black glave mostly worn.
